Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of AlignedAI (the “Service”), operated by AlignedAI (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

AlignedAI is an AI assistant for pastors and church teams. It can write sermons, Bible studies, devotionals, emails, and other content; help repurpose your sermons in Content Repurpose; run automations between your connected apps; and act as a personal assistant, including optional SMS reminders, daily briefs, and two-way text conversations. AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete — always review it before relying on or publishing it.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the information you provide, for activity under your account, and for keeping your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to act for your church or organization. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it current.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to violate any law, infringe others’ rights, send unlawful, harassing, or unsolicited messages, attempt to breach security, or misuse connected apps or the SMS program. You are responsible for the content you generate, send, or distribute through the Service.

4. Connected apps & automations

When you connect a third-party app (for example, your church management or giving platform), you authorize us to access and act within that app on your behalf to run the automations you create. Your use of those apps remains subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for actions taken by third-party services. AlignedAI does not send communications to your members on its own — outbound messages to your congregation are sent through your connected apps under your control.

5. SMS / text messaging program

The SMS program is an optional feature of the personal assistant. By providing your mobile number and checking the consent box, you agree to receive recurring automated text messages from AlignedAI — such as reminders, daily briefs, automation and monitor alerts, and replies to your messages — at the number you provide.

  • Message frequency varies based on the reminders, briefs, and automations you set up.
  • Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile plan.
  • Reply STOP at any time to cancel and unsubscribe. Reply HELP for help.
  • Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchasing any product or service.
  • Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

We do not share or sell mobile opt-in data or consent with third parties for their own marketing. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle your information.

6. Plans & billing

Some features require a paid plan or a free trial. Free trials convert to paid plans unless cancelled before the trial ends. Fees are billed in advance and are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with reasonable notice.

7. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of the content you provide and the content you generate using the Service. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to operate and improve the Service for you. The Service itself, including its software and branding, remains our property.

8. Scripture content

Bible text in the Service is provided through third-party providers (including API.Bible) and remains the property of its respective publishers and copyright holders. Public-domain translations (such as the KJV, WEB, and ASV) may generally be used freely; copyrighted translations (such as the ESV, NIV, NKJV, NLT, CSB, and NASB) are subject to their publishers’ attribution and usage requirements, including any required copyright notice. You are responsible for complying with the applicable translation’s license when you publish, distribute, or otherwise use content generated through the Service that quotes Scripture.

9. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
